It's always beautiful to witness how God moved mountains to bless His people and even more, when it happens to you. God, I am in awe. The words known to me are not enough, You just amazed me Father! Even in many tiny details You are absolutely mindful to all of them! Hallelujah!
Allow me to share how God moved mountains I cannot. Arriving in the Philippines with zero knows about who will be with us for "The Day" is a huge nerve wracking scene and with just less than a month of putting things together, it's yeah. So, even before I arrived home I said to God, "Lord, be our Coordinator." It gives me confidence that because it is He who will coordinate things, you expect the best and that He is not bound by time nor your circumstance. He is GOD, that is my faith. True enough, the Lord have coordinated everything so beautifully. People whom I know and just knew were God's instrument in making this day come to pass. All for His glory and honor!
There were some days that we were unwell and our bodies adjusting to everything, most specially for Aleksi but we praise God for He is our Healer and our ever present help in times of need! Our application of legal capacity to get married in the Philippines at the Swedish Embassy went very smoothly. All our flights, our coming in and going out (not to mention, that the boarding in was closed without us checking in, but the manager was so kind enough to let us aboard). Surprisingly, met Pastor Michael outside the shopping store after two attempts of visiting if he's in the church, what a divine appointment! The marriage license officer was very helpful to do an initial check of our papers even before Aleksi arrived in Butuan. One of Almont's kind of a gem who is just so dear to my heart, you're an inspiration, Tita Ady! And is God's way for us to meet this lovely, humbled and joyous people Precious Beginnings by Janelle and 30frames Production. They were all so willing and am truly blessed to be surrounded by them all! Salamat sa inyung kinabuhi. Padayun!
My parents are always my constant prayer warriors, I love you ma, pa. My one and only sister who always comforts me when it's overwhelming already and my "big" brothers for always making sure everything is okay. To my husband's parents who keeps us in prayer fervently and his families who sends us their warmth congratulations from afar yet so felt in our hearts! To all our families, relatives and dearest friends in the Philippines, Thailand, Canada, Finland and Sweden, THANK YOU for all your prayers and for celebrating with us! We are so grateful, truly!
Indeed, when it is God's time He will surely make it happen! Not our time, His time. He will move in so many ways beyond our capacity to grasp or comprehend. We just have to trust Him! HE is more than able!
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD.
Isaiah 55:8
One thing is sure, that all His promises are "Yes and Amen!"
TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
Blessings in His love, Aleksi & Ruth
