Just obey.

Yesterday, my husband was preaching about the “Holy Spirit.” He was nervous with this message, He said; ‘it’s a heavy one!’ and a lot of distractions from the enemy but praise God he chose to obey! I was interceding and praying it was in finnish which I am far from fluency. After the sermon he felt weak and that it was a failure!

But after a while individual are coming over and asking him to pray for them. I personally thought people were disinterested with the look on their faces particularly with one sitting in front which later came for prayer! It was a sad look that I thought “disinterested.” A lot of people put a strong face for a broken heart! Of course, I too have experienced that! I was corrected by the Holy Spirit himself; I too need a fresh encounter of Him that when I look people, I don’t have an initial judgement of whatsoever but a look of kindness and love regardless of what is at present nor the past. When we were on our way home my husband told me, "One very interesting thing God told me today," He said: “Go put the Bible and the water bottle back in the car!” ‘It was strange because it wasn’t time yet but I just obeyed,’ he said. When he was about to get in the car an old tall woman which he’d never seen in church before approached him and said these words; “Don’t think it was a failure, you spoke the message of God from His heart to His people, keep doing that! It touches many hearts more than you will ever know.” Hallelujah! I asked my husband, ‘who is she?’ and he didn’t know or have seen her before in church. What an encouragement from the Lord! Hallelujah! Hadn’t he obeyed that simple instruction he would have missed God’s message for him through that old lady or who knows it was an angel from above! Being a minister is sure not easy! But to know that God in His greatness wants to minister to His ministers is amazing! Isn’t that beautiful?!

I pray that you obey whatever instruction you received from God, no matter how you think it’s out of place or that it does not coordinate the coordinates, I pray that you obey gladly and don’t silent that little nudge from the Holy Spirit whether it be by giving, encouraging or anything at all, cause surely, God is never wronged! He works in so many amazing ways and that He is working in you! Just obey.
